How to Prepare

To make the most of your time, come prepared with:

Regular Rate – $150

For families who can comfortably pay the full value of the service. Choosing this option helps support the availability of reduced and nominal rates for others.

Reduced Rate – $100

For families experiencing significant financial hardship. This rate ensures you can still access guidance while contributing to the sustainability of the service.

An Advocacy Strategy Session is a one-hour consultation designed to help you navigate a specific school-related challenge or question. Whether you’re preparing for an IEP meeting, addressing an issue with the school team, or trying to understand an assessment report, this session provides actionable advice tailored to your child’s needs.

– A 60-minute virtual or phone consultation.

My availability ebbs and flows depending on the needs of my Advocacy in Action clients. During the 9-week program, many of my slots are reserved for those clients, which limits the number of Strategy Sessions I can offer.

You’ll notice more slots become available when the program is not actively running. I encourage you to check back regularly or contact me if you have an urgent need, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Yes, you can use AFU, but you must have an approved Request to Pay (RTP) visible in my provider portal before the session begins. If the RTP is not approved in time, your session will be automatically cancelled, and you can reschedule once approval is confirmed.
