J Scharf Consulting provides coaching and education advocacy support education for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent and/or disabled children, with special expertise in the Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile of autism.

All services are provided through the lens of the neurodiversity paradigm, human rights, autism acceptance and the social model of disability. Methodologies used include Ross Greene’s Collaborative & Proactive Solutions, Mona Delahook’s Beyond Behaviours, Stuart Shanker’s Self-Reg and Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory. The specific approach to services is tailored to each individual family and their expressed needs.

All services are provided to parents/caregivers and their educational teams. I do not work directly with children. All services are provided remotely except in the rare case of an in-person meeting or training.
